Privacy Policy

Four Tables is built to work without accounts, sign-ups or payments, so we collect very little. This policy explains exactly what happens to information when you use the site.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to Four Tables (“we”, “us”, “our”), the free blackjack practice site at https://hitmejack.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

The short version

Information we collect

Stored on your device (local storage)

To remember your progress the game saves a small record in your browser's local storage under the name four-tables. It contains the number of hands you have played and won, your best winning streak and the table design you picked. This works entirely in your browser: it is not transmitted to us and we cannot see it. You can erase it with the Clear button in the game (stats) or through your browser's site-data settings (everything).

Technical data collected automatically

Like any website, the Site is delivered by a hosting and content-delivery provider — Cloudflare, Inc. When your browser requests a page, technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time is processed to deliver the Site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We may see aggregate traffic statistics derived from this data (for example, number of visits and countries). See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply, to deal with your request and to keep a record of the correspondence.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, date of birth, payment information or any account details. The game involves no money, so no transactions are processed. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in comparable ways. The Site uses or may involve the following:

Name / providerPurposeTypeLifetime
four-tables (local storage), Four TablesRemembers your stats and chosen designFunctional (first party)Until you clear it
Security cookies such as __cf_bm, CloudflareMay be set to protect the Site from bots and abuseStrictly necessaryShort-lived (typically about 30 minutes)
Advertising cookies such as __gads, __gpi and IDE, GoogleServe and measure ads and, where permitted, personalise themAdvertising (third party)Set by Google; up to about 13 months

Advertising cookies are used only if and when ads are shown on the Site. Names and lifetimes are controlled by the providers and can change. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the game will still work, although ads may be less relevant and your saved stats may be lost if you clear site data.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may display ads served by Google through Google AdSense. In line with Google's requirements, we tell you the following:

Ads are selected automatically by Google and its partners. We do not control which ads you see, do not endorse advertised products or services, and do not sell your personal information for money. Ads are separate from the game and never affect how cards are dealt.

How we use information

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: consent for non-essential cookies and personalised advertising; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving a free website; and legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your email correspondence with advertisers.

International transfers

We operate from the Republic of Korea, and our providers run servers around the world. Your information may therefore be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, providers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep information

Local-storage data stays on your device until you delete it. Technical logs are kept by Cloudflare under its own retention policies. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port personal information we hold about you, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data-protection authority. This includes rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, California privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA) and the Republic of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to confirm your identity first. Because we hold almost no personal data, in most cases there will be little or nothing to provide, and we will tell you so. California residents: advertising cookies may count as “sharing” under some state laws; you can opt out through the Google and industry tools linked in the Advertising section.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and in particular not from anyone under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS and we limit the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

Do Not Track

There is no consistent standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, so the Site does not currently respond to them. Use the cookie and advertising controls described above to manage tracking.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
